   Hello

   I want to change the index page of my WP blog. I want to keep a page that is been designed by me in dreamweaver.

   I do not want to keep a page that we can create through WP like "About Us" etc.

   Can anyone help me with this?

   If the issue is not regarding adsense or involves some technical know how why there are no one to reply on labnol forum...

   Ashish963: Firstly, you posted your question over the weekend. IF it hasn't been answered, either we don't know or we're not inclined to reply or we haven't seen it. Always have a little patience.

   Now, onto your question - What you ought to do is keep your self-designed index page and include a link to your WordPress blog within. Also edit your WordPress theme files to link to your main home page (if a user clicks on the header image etc.) instead of the blog's first page.

   First of all designing a page in dreamweaver wont be the right method of doing it..

   It would be better if you edit the index.php file of your theme properly to get the desired results.. Its always better to keep many of the wordpress functions..
