I am very much interested in purchasing a genuine copy of windows7. However I am confused what is the validity period for windows 7.
As if we purchase antivirus software its validity is for one year.
So if I purchase Win7 what will be validity, one year or lifetime?
Your license is valid for usage with the same computer for life. Support from Microsoft will end as per the schedules provided by the company usually 8-10 years after the initial launch of the product. However, if you change important components of your PC like your motherboard, you'll probably be greeted with a message asking you to re-validate your installation as Windows would think it's been installed on another machine.
