   I'm having a problem opening my Windows Live Writer. My blog is hosted through Blogger.com. Up until recently, i've had no problems whatsoever with editing and posting to my blog in WLW. But the last few times that I've tried to open WLW, it says this: "Windows Live Writer has encountered a problem and needs to close." I don't understand why its doing this now when it was working so well before.

   The only thing that I've done different to my blog is that I changed my template. Would that be a reason why WLW won't open? I even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it is still doing the same thing.

   I would really love to keep using WLW b/c I love how much easier it is to use than blogger and I can do so much more with my blog. Please, if someone can help me, please let me know!!!

   Dear meggymegos ,

   The error ou are getting is not because of changing your blogs theme, you can change theme of your blog at anytime without worrying for WLW.

   These problem usually get encountered due to unusual shutdown of system, loss of DLL files or some files necessary to run WLW may have went corrupted.

   Do the following things,
   - Uninstall WLW.
   - Reinstall WLW from microsofts website.

   You are ready to go.
