Can you download all your posts to the live writer ? I know we can search for the posts and open any post we want, but is there a way to download all of the together so that you can work offline on them?

No, I mean that if you have a number of posts which are not made through live writer and you want to download all of them to live writer, can you do it all together? I know you can open posts one by one and save them as draft - but that is a long drawn process..

You have to follow the same steps.
Open Live Writer, then choose the third option from the left side. Open your older posts and save them as your Local Draft.Posted 2 years ago # -
@mohitsmith - could you make it more clear . the third option on the top menu is View - where it is not possible to do so.

@ techlee : Click on file from left top and select Open. Select your Blog and Retrieve the post that you want and save it as local draft.
Then Work on the local draft and when you are done, publish it.

@Amit - pl note that the process you state is for downloading posts one by one . i am aware of this but just wanted to know if there is any way you can download all your posts - say 100 or more through live writer?

@techlee : As far as I know you can't bulk download posts into WLW. You have to manually download them One by One.
