   I would like to know which laptop i should get? I am into graphics and design and have heard that the mac is the most appropriate for such usage.Any thoughts ?

   For better graphics and processing power. Macbook is always costly and you may get a good deal in US. If cost is a concern then go for Sony Vaio VGN-AR590E or Asus M70SA.

   I think you need to specify the budget as well as your exact requirement - whether you want to do high-end graphics, video editing or plain emails and web surfing.

   hi sumit.the mac gives you the best of both worlds because it s got a parallel desktop feature by which you can alternate between the Mac OS and the Windows OS.It is better than a PC as it is more focused on creative aspects than other operating systems. color calibration and WYSIWYG issues are dealt with more favorably on Macs than PCs.

    i also suggest you go for the imac.. applications run really fast! and there are some good sftwares which are very useful(sketch up pro etc)

    Hey what about a budget of Rs. 50000/-.
    Some graphics.
    Something good for a developer.

    2 GB RAM would do.
    250 GB hard disk required.

    Please suggest a laptop.
