Unusual problem With Snag-IT and Feeddemon

    i am facing an unusual problem with TechSmith SNagIT.When i am running feeddemon to read my feeds i cannot open the SNAG IT editor.I dont know why but SNAGIT editor doesnt opens when Feeddemon is on.I know that this doesnt make any sense but cant help it.

    I have removed both the programs and reinstalled in a different directory but the problem persists.Unusual ??

    This is funny. I think you should log a case with TechSmith Support and send them your log file to debug the reason.

    Am not sure but this could be something to do with shared DLLs

    Got the root.I have installed Windows search 4.0from microsoft and installed feedemon and SNAGIT after installing Windows search.Later i removed Windows search and faced the problem as stated above.

    Now i reinstalled Windows search and everything is normal.Then i removed and reinstalled both feeddemon and SNAGIT and then uninstalled windows search.

    What a funny way to solve !!

    Some registry settings were probably clashing...

    Glad to hear everything's settled down to normal.
