Suggestions About Registering good email address

    Hi friends!

    I want some tips in registering a good email address (something@gmail.com).

    I had tried in google but not satisfied with results :)

    Are there any topics about that(Like “Tips about registering a good email address”) ?

    try for some other webmail service to create email ids.

    try ymail.com, in.com, aol.in etc.

    i think you are asking about webmail. if not so please leave this.

    @Pottas: Are you more interested in a fancy domain name or user name? Personally, I'd be more interested in the features that an email provider offers, but to each his/her own...

    Also, what sort of expenditure are you prepared to undertake? If it's only free stuff that you want, there are loads of options. If you're willing to pay for it, there's nothing like having your own identity / email by getting yourself a domain.

    As an example - First Name = Ben
    Last Name = Dover

    An alternative might be to replace periods (.) with underscores (_) or some other allowed character (-,+ etc.)

    Professional / Sober type
    ben.dover@domain
    b.dover@domain
    bend@domain
    dover.ben@domain
    dover.b@domain

    Casual type
    emailben@domain
    contactben@domain
    write.to.ben@domain

    Ego stroking type
    benroolzall@domain
    ben.is.the.gr8est@domain

    Why not use your full name like

    firstname.lastname@gmail.com

    It will be unique as well as easy for you and others to remember that know you by name .
