   Hi All!

   So I've been noticing for a while now that my computers been underperforming and I've tried everything from closing unnecessary programs to scanning for trojans to installing all updates, you name it. I'm convinced its about time for me to try updating my drivers, but as you all know it's a very tedious task to take on, having to recognize what needs to be updated and ultimately searching for the drivers themselves. Anyone have any tips or know of any programs to help remedy this and save me a lot of time?

   I suggest you try and use DriverMax. It's freeware that will sccan your hardware and let you download and install the driver updates as needed by your PC.

   If your PC's running slower than usual, it's usually because your registry has bloated up. Unfortunately, the only way to remedy this is to start afresh. A clean install or reverting back to a disk image created immediately after one will add that spring back into your Windows' step.

   Also, keep at least 10% of space on your HDDs free and keep the HDDs de-fragmented. Using NTFS helps to keep fragmentation to a lower level than FAT32.

   Try DriverAgent. It scans your system and provides you with the proper driver downloads. It’s not free, but it's pretty reliable and comes with support in case you run into any trouble.
