My computer's RAM started showing errors recently. It used to rest automatically, show errors in random files. (I ran the memory test available in the Ubuntu Linux CD and it showed errors at 144mb and 400mb)
When I changed the RAM from that to the other slot, it worked properly for a few weeks.
But now it shows error in that slot also.
The motherboard warranty ran out a few months ago. The RAM is new and under warrranty for 1 more year. I took the ram to the shop, they tested it and said RAM has no error.
Can anything be done about the memory slot ?
