   You need to have a gravatar [Globally Recognised AVATAR] linked to your email address. That way any forum / blog that makes use of Gravatar.com's API / service will look up the pic associated with the email address used in your profile.

   Sign up at http://gravatar.com

   Have a look at the image thumbnails and you'll see that they're hosted at gravatar.com.
