Problem with google indexing.

  1. I posted an article "How to get Creative ideas For Business" and hear is the url for the post..
    http://itomo.blogspot.com/2008/08/how-to-get-creative-ideas-for-business.html
    The thing is that my post is indexed.. while i searched for "How to get Creative ideas For Business" in google my page is not even in the top 100 pages.
    while if i search for while i searched for the same using google syntax
    "How to get Creative ideas For Business site:itomo.blogspot.com " it shows my post.I don know what mistake i made..
    I wonder it should come at least under top 100.
    The content is my own content and what should i do to get better search position for my post.

    Well....

    It is because your page rank is much lower than those alternatives available there.

    And another factor is that your posts donot have links from other sites.

    Google selects the position of your site according to these and some other factors.

    And you can see the ranking in Google Webmaster tools under Top Search Queries.

  3. What do you mean links from other sites and how do i add them..
    can some one please direct me toward any tutorial how to provide links from other sites.
    Any help regarding this issue will be appreciated.

    Well.....

    You can't create links yourself, or add them. Other bloggers have to themselves link to you in their posts. For example, someone visits your blog/post and likes an article you posted. Then he decides to post about that in his blog. Then he will (should) link to the original post that you have made.

    You get links this way...

    And another way is to discuss in forums and add a signature to your posts. So, people clicking on the link will get to your site, and this might also be counted as links if the forum doesn't add "nofollow" to links.

    You can check your backlinks in Technorati.
