Problem installing my favicon in blogspot

    hello amit

    Just read your article on how to install a favicon in a website.Tried this with my site in googlepages and it worked.But in the blogspot blog whenever i am trying to install it i am getting an error message
    :"your template is not well formed".

    i have successfully installed the favicon here:

    I know that i need to copy paste the code just before the</head> tag.but in the blogspot blog its not working.Could you please suggest?

    use this code <link href='url of your picture' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/png'/>

    past it after the <head>

    it is much better if you upload your icon to photobucket because they are more reliable.
