To upload a "private" video on YouTube is easy (you just check the "private" radio button. Fine!
And you're told you can share it with 25 persons. Fine.
Then you're told "you don't have a contact list to share your private video. And that you must create a list of contacts. FINE again !
Then you're sent to a "my account/adress book" page and you're supposed to create contacts. Fine again !
BUT THEN WHAT ????? I've created contacts.... BUT CANNOT RELATE THEM TO THE VIDEO.
And if I press to "new message", my new contact receives an email telling him he's been chosen as "my friend" ! (which I don't care about as I only want to SEND HIM THE LINK TO MY PRIVATE VIDEO. (I don't want to tell him he's been chosen as a friend)
PLEASE, PLEASE, help me !

Eva.marie.saint: Log in to YouTube. Navigate to your YouTube Address Book.
In the top left, click NEW > CONTACT and fill in the name/email fields when they appear and click SAVE when done. Add as many contacts as you wish to send the movie link to.
Now, head back to the My Videos section.
From the list of videos that you've uploaded, click the EDIT button under the vid that you've created. Scroll down the page that opens. Under the BROADCASTING & SHARING OPTIONS, choose PRIVATE and select the contacts that you've added. Note that only contacts with existing YouTube accounts are displayed. I believe private vids can be shared only with users having YouTube accounts.

I've followed your advice. And I've created 2 contacts...
And I went back to the broadcasting and sharing otpions...
AND I STILL HAVE THE DAMN MESSAGE IN RED : "you don't have a list of contacts to share with"
In red letters ! ! ! !
