Not able to remove an ad unit

Hi I am getting an ad unit just after my first post which I havent configured. I am wondering how to remove this ad unit. Can someone help on this?

If this is a Blogger XML template, you can either use their visual editor to remove the ad unit or direcly manipulate the XML template and delete the Google Ads related element.

The sad part is that I am not using Blogger XML template. Its a simple template provided by blogger.com
I also tried finding some code that I might have added to show an ad immediately after a post but no success.
