   Hi Amit,

   I am blogger at smashtech.blogspot.com and recently I experimented my blog post by adding meta tags for each of the post and result some unexpected behaviour like in the post and didn't result in a positive way.

   So my question is Whether meta tags are required for each and every post of the blog ? if so what is the method to do so...

   You have to add meta tags in your blogger template at top side of your template.As it is an XML blogger template,you need to add meta tags in template itself.
   you can add meta tags as follows...
   <meta name="description" content="something about your site" />
   <meta name="keywords" content="you specify keywords related to your site separated with commas" />
   you add these meta tags in your template before</head> tag.

   On blogger platform you cant give meta tags to every article you publish. You can set these meta tags once in html template.

   Yes,
   This is good and only method for inserting meta tags in blogger. Choose meta keywords and meta description tags.
   Make sure you give keywords which will cover your blog topics, not necessarily all.
   This is a proven good methodology on blogger platform.

    Adding Meta Tags is a good Option,But dont ever use the same meta tags on all pages..
    @umashankar yes meta tags can be added in that way,but i suggest you to use B:if conditions to bind metas to specific pages..

    Best and cheapest hit would be your <strong>contextual links</strong> and your Post title+content.
    lets just say any amount of SEO cant loose a good content!

    TIPS::
    post topic(keywords- must be present)
    post title(try full names)
    include min 5 contextual link for a page article
