   hi, i have a vry important MS word 2003 document. part of my life is involved in it. it is password protected. and i forgot that password since i wanted tokeep something very difficult to guess.
   Is there any way to recover it ? When I tried some softwares online, they are charging tooo high and the trial version gives hardly a page.

   There are certain software that will provide you with the first 4 characters of your pwd. If that's enough to jog your memory, then perhaps you might want to try those out. As you say, if the data you've stored within the document is worth the price, then perhaps you need to go ahead and shell out the reqd. price.

   Here's a freeware one, but it's slow and will take a number of *days* depending on the length/complexity of your pwd.
