I have a self-hosted Wordpress blog and i am displaying my ads after the post title and before the post. Problem is most of the times Public service ads are being displayed and not about the content which i write. Can you please help regarding this.

It generally takes 48 hours for Google Adsense to display relevant ads on a site.
But if you have been using Adsense for a while and still see only PSA ads, try this:
1. Type your site URL in the Adsense Sandbox and check the ads for other countries. If you see ads, nothing to worry.
2. If they are still PSA's, check the diagnosis tab in the Adsense control panel to confirm that there's no problem with the site.
3. Nothing works, send an email to Adsense support with a screenshot of your web page displaying PSA.

You can try to display more posts per page at a time. Then google will have more material to look ads for. Also try to avoid copying large texts from other sources
this situation {gebnerally} happens when your site' isn't getting too many impressions,backlinks...
u run out of advertisers at this point
build links, promote blog and u'll have high CPm ads...

@Mnkos - even if you title is descriptive, Google ads should display just perfect. You don't need loads of text.
@Ashwini - Backlinks, impressions have nothing to do with Google Ads. If a site is not very popular, it may not have targeted advertising but it will surely have keywords based ads.
