    Hi,

I have my domain name and hosting service with XYZ hosting provider.
    (a) What are aspects to take care when migrating to a new hosting service provider (if/when I am not happy with the current).
    (b) Based on your experience, can you please suggest reliable web hosting service providers?

    Thanks,
    Krishna

    1. Make sure you zip all your files, backup your database and update the nameservers.

    2. It depends on your traffic .. I am on Dreamhost and they do well.

@ krishna, I was using Yahoo, Dream host previously.Yahoo is way too bad, as a host.Dream host is way good in the begging and almost disappear when you have certain problems....

I just tried Doreo host, and they really rock.
    There is almost 100% uptime.
And Dream host has lot of downtimes regularly.
I find Doreo the best in hosting, as they are not overselling.

And in Doreo, the support in the best. You get a support member to chat. And they can handle almost any kind of problems. They will even do some of your job, like setting up your new account, and they will be with you all the time, when you have problem.
If you are interested to test Doreo...here is a coupon code "technotip.org" (without cotes).
This code will give you free hosting for almost 45Days.
Amit sir, you also try it.This(http://doreo.com/) is the best hosting company.

    Regards,
    SATISH
