This was announced on an internal MVP mailing list, not on any web page.
Hey amit, did you participate in it,
I expect you to win this more than anyone amit.
I have been an MVP since October 2006.
You don't participate in any contest to become an MVP but Microsoft may be reading your blogs, watching your participation in web forums, conferences, etc.. such things do improve the chances of getting an MVP award but again there are no defined rules.
You may even be a linux or Open Source fan and still win an MVP certificate.
Amit i think this image has decreased the chances of getting that MVP Award to you :)(Don't take it serious) What do you say ?
