   Hi, i want to create a mailing list of people who had agreed to be mailed as a group. The purpose is:

   1. to hide the email addresses from open view
   2. a creater/owner can time-to-time add/remove/edit the list
   3. the mailing list (say group@mailinglistxx.com) can be used anyone to send mails to the group

   Since the mailing list is of no other purpose other than serving as a common emailing id and temporary in nature (say about a year). I dont want to create any google group or yahoo group.

   Are they any reliable free providers of mailing list? Please help to find the right one, since i have got no time to test any or cant afford to lose any mail once created.

   Google Groups and YahooGroups are tailor made for what you need.

   Both offer web based as well as direct to email features.

   Why precisely do these FAIL to conform to your requirements? Just curiosity...The time that your group remains in existence is inconsequential, isn't it?
