   Live writer hangs the whole system. Any way to make it work normally ?

   Uninstall it. Make a fresh Windows user profile and re-install WLW within this new profile. See if that helps...

   Thanks Sparx. However, I am really scared to unistall it . The reason is that Windows Live Writer creates so many problems sometimes in getting installed back that one can go crazy. In my PC, it was a week before I could reinstall the WLW after getting 3 types of different errors !.

   @techlee: If Live Writer is already hanging your system, then it isn't really working, so I don't think you have anything to lose. Plus, if you feel so strongly about this, make an image of your disk using Symantec Ghost or some similar disk imaging app and then revert to the image, if the re-install fails. That way, at least, no *further* harm will have occurred.
