   Is there a way to find out what keywords are people are using in their
   articles, blogs, etc?

   Perhaps look in the meta tags of the page? In Firefox, click View > Page Source (CTRL+U)

   Look for embedded <meta> tags for name / keywords etc. WordPress plugins like All-in-One SEO will add the keywords you want in these tags for crawlers to grab.

   As an example, view the page source of this post. The keywords meta tag is visible in the source.
