Just read this story on Hava and Slinbox. I am in India and wonder how can I record satellite TV programs from Tata Sky or Dish TV DTH to my laptop.
The laptop has USB, VGA and an S-Video port. Do I need a TV Tuner card (internal or external?) or can I connect the set top box directly to the computer.

connect ur tata sky to tv then connect from tv to pc and use hyper cam n reccord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
