   how can we remove the date values in the urls of a blogger post. eg a blogger post url would look like myblogname.blogspot.com/2009/01/title . how can we remove the year and month and only show as myblogname.blogspot.com/title

   We can't do so. Blogger don't permit for so.

   too sad.. was trying to forward a domain address of an existing blog to a blogspot blog so that previous traffic is not lost..the urls in the blog does not have any date values and though the homepage would forward, the other posts would not .no way out?

   Actually if you need it you should migrate to worpdress. You get many more features out there like you can use custom url for your blog post unlike blogger where the first five words from title are the url.
