any idea how to delete yahoo email id completely, as the id is hacked by someone, who is using it to send some objectionable contents.

This procedure does not delete one's account completely. After following the guidelines you are still registered in their "Yahoo! People Search". There is a special procedure for deleting your registration in "Yahoo! People Search" and I can't find it. There is no help in their badly written help guidelines. They send you around in an endless links circles circus. It is driving me nuts! Dear Digital Inspiration: please write a how-to-post about getting out of Yahoo 100 % so that no trace is left behind. I'm so mad at Yahoo! Time and time again they try to install their stupid toolbar through downloads of other programs. Their widgets are almost impossible to delete. You can't get out of their registration systems. It takes 90 days to delete an email account. And more of the same kind. I'm almost at the point where I want to hurt them. I take pleasure in writing this. When ever they receive public spanking fx. in the press I laugh out loud! Glee is not something that is becoming but Yahoo!'s policies could turn even an angel into a monster. Why do they behave like this? I hate to see myself gloating. Yahoo! make me dislike myself! Please help, Labnol, will you? I want to be a nice person and get completely out of Yahoo!

This here is documentation. The links on the page sends you around in circles. It is impossible to edit or delete that listing when you can't find the option/feature. Quote:
