   Hi,

   My query is about Google maps. When i type "Thousand Oaks Djs" ( without quotes ), local business results are displayed at 4th position.

   1. Does a site has to be submitted to local business center of google for this ? or to yellow pages?

   2. Is geographical distnace a criteria for these listings ?

   3. sometimes, these types of results are at ist position and sometimes at 4th. what's the reason ?

   The business has to be listed in Google Local Search.

   The results may however not depend on your geographic location.
