FeedDemon loses images

(4 posts)
  1. I'm using Newsgator FeedDemon to read RSS Feeds. The problem is if the feed contains images, they automatically get deleted, once IE cache is cleared.

As a result the feeds are shown without images.

    Is there any solution?

Could you explain that a bit more.

Ideally, if you clear the IE cache - FeedDemon or IE would re-download the images from the website.

  3. I use FeedDemon from Newsgator.

I don't want to lose images everytime, I clear the IE Cache. FeedDemon seems to use the IE rendering system.

It uses it's own directory to store feeds with extension .rss. However, it places all images into "IE temporary Internet Files" folder.

Is there *any* trick, for not losing images, everytime the IE cache is cleared?

You are right - FeedDemon uses the IE system for rendering webpages and images.

Don't think there's a way to override that.
