I want to sell video (flash, wma) viewings to customers.
I must give them a url in a thank you email, some type of link ( I am using an S3 server) which holds the files, But also using a seperate hosted site with ecommerce.
I read the pre-signed urls, on S3 server, but don't want to have to change them all the time and change the urls in reciepts or emails.
Thus, I am looking for a "timer" (something) that takes the IP or time off the end users PC, and disables the url 24hours later.
I guess the true url needs to get an extra digit generated each time, then that url expires?
ALT Option:
Perhaps there is a way to use a flash player (that does not show a url) but I still need to give them access via a click here link of sorts? They just can't forward the url to anyone else? View on demand...
I welcome any ideas from the experts. Keep it simple. I am a novice.
Thanks in advance. Brett
