   I am blogger by profession and I blog for http://www.newtechnologyinfo.com . I want to create a new blog and the domain name I am looking for is only available WITH ".in" extension . If I go with .in extension will it make any difference in search engine rankings in different parts of the world like USA & UK. Please let me know the disadvantages of using ".in" extension.

   None to mention in terms of SEO. However, human idiosyncracies being what they are, a human being will most likely type in .com to go to a site that he/she is unfamiliar with.

   you will get good search engine rankings when people search in "http://www.google.co.in/"
