   By default,whenever we publish a post,the full post appears on the frontpage of the blog.But when we change it to 'short' in settings---->site feed it normally gets changed as in case of posts on the frontpage of 'labnol'.But it is not happening in case of my blog .can anyone help???

   That Short Excerpts setting is for the RSS feed, not your actual blog.
