I can't run WLinstaller to get windows live writer as it asks me to run critical updates.I further found out that it is a WGA issue and my windows is not genuine.I don't have money to get my xp licensed but is there any way that i can get windows live writer on this system????

MemberAbhi - Are your trying to install Windows Live service while you are logged on to the computer as a user who does not have administrator permissions.
If not, Microsoft has just launched a new Windows Live Installer available at http://g.live.com/1rewlive/en/WLInstaller.exe
If you still run into problems with Windows Live Programs, check the support article 940065
