Can you suggest?

    As i'm a beginner to blogging, can u suggest something to blogging?

    The chronicles of questions are:

    1. How to create a site like blog in my own domain name?

    2. can i able to get my own name i.e myname.com to myname.blogspot.com?

    3. suggest any software which enables add, edit my content in anywhere i'm browsing the net and the forum software. Some people i came across are said that phpbb to forum creation.

    I felt free to asking this that i will get your valuable replies.

    1. Buy a domain (with email, calendar, etc) from Google Apps and host that on a third-party hosting company like Dreamhost or GoDaddy. Your blog software will be WordPress.

    Or

    Buy a web domain and set it up as a custom domain with Blogger. This is less geeky than Option 1 and mostly maintenance free but you have may less functionality than what is offer in WordPress.

    To answer Q3: If you want forums, use bbPress or phpBB or SMF with Option 1 suggested above.
