   hi, i just downloaded arestube, and i can get the youtube url and add it to the download list, but when i click download, it will take about 30 seconds to download and then a message says download erro :S

   can anybody help me resolve this?

   Any other error message? Kinda difficult to pinpoint a problem, if all we know is that a problem exists, but no idea about what type of problem it is...

   An alternative would be to use an online service like http://vixy.net which will convert the Youtube video into an AVI and allow you to download it.

   If it's just the FLV that you're after, then there are loads of extensions for Firefox and GreaseMonkey scripts that you can use to grab the video.

   Orbit Downloader also has a feature that will allow you to grab any FLV video when you hover over it.
