   I want to shift my blog to custom domain and I went with the publishing link on the blogger...at last it is asking my credit card no to purchase.

   But I don't have credit card instead i have debit card,Is there any other alternative to buy on google checkout(Godaddy.com)

   Please help me out. Thanks.

   Hi I am not sure what kind of debit card you have but if it has a Visa or MasterCard logo on your card you may be able to use it just like a credit card the money will be deduct form your account just like you used a debit card. I am not sure if you tried that.

   I didn't understand you last statement
   do you want to buy a domain from Godaddy.com using google checkout ?

   Yes you can use Google checkout to buy from godaddy

   Most US based vendors only accept international credit cards or PayPal.

   You should probably ask a friend who has a credit card or a PayPal account to make the purchase for you.

   Hi Brother !

   If you wish , you can drop the idea of GoDaddy and switch to a local Domain Registrar ( based in India ) . Hence , you can pay by other modes .

   Moreover , to Opt Custom domain , you are forced to purchase a Domain using Checkout from GoDaddy !

   Hi..

   I too bought a domain recently from Godaddy and now I am hosting my blog with Blogger.Hope I could be of some help for you....

   To add,you can buy a domain from Godaddy at a minimum cost of 7.15$(public registration).On the other side,Google charges 10$ for that(private registration+some other benefits).It all depends on your interests.....

   Blogger does not allow domains without WWW (naked domains) in custom domain. Here is the solution for Yahoo and Godaddy and probably all other Registrar

   I was facing the same issue long back, then i solved it and wrote a blog post for this. After applying these settings (which you will find in above links) your site will work with or without WWW for an example look my site http://ialwayscapital.com which is in blogger and domain purchased from Yahoo.
