Anonymous surfing Tricks, Firewall breaking

(6 posts)
  1. Hi Amith,

Day by day My company people are making restrictions on many sites even they removed orkut and blogger sites. I tried all the tricks which you have suggested earlier, but these tricks were also expired. Could you please provide us any new tricks on accessing anonymous surfing.

    Thanks,
    Dutt

  2. Try www.hidemyass.com OR http://www.the-cloak.com

    Try HTTPTunnel - http://www.http-tunnel.com/html/solutions/http_tunnel/client.asp

There's a free version of the service and a paid version that promises more speed and added features.

Think about this though - your firm has obviously restricted access due to the fact that they want their employees to be more productive. Talk to your policy makers and explain your point of view. There'll be questions asked if your sys admins are even halfway competent and check their logs.

  4. Yes - look for a proxy server and talk with your sysadmins.

Which links exactly were blocked? If you don't have an open access policy, that might sometimes hinder produtivity, but apparently your policy makers feel otherwise.

  6. Quite frankly, no more ideas without at least sitting at the system in question.

    Sorry.
