Does an address maintaining offline utility exist which is better than one shipped with Windows (WAB)? I like lots of options that I can fill in this one but categorization, search and tagging are abysmal. Currently an address can only be stored in one folder and there is no global search so I have to go to folder and then search.
Alternative to Windows's addressbook?

Use Windows Live Mail - it absolutely rocks.

Try Lookeen!
Really a big help, especially because it works with every Exchange server (offline, online, cached and uncached), searchs public folders and is also a Desktop search, but that are just a few features of Lookeen, if you wanna know more check it out here: http://www.lookeen.netPosted 2 years ago # -
You can try Mozilla Thunderbird - it's an email/news client at heart, but along with the Zindus extension can sync the address book with your GMail Contacts, so you have an online backup as well.
