   Yesterday, I found a nice article in Times of India on Rupee rising against Dollar i.e at peak in last almost a decade. (http://epaper.indiatimes.com/ sept 21, 2007 issue front page)

   So, my question is how it will affect AdSense publishers? Because from my point of view the number of hits/clicks on your website will not change on an average, but the relative value of Dollar will fall. So it means less AdSense revenue as compared to before.

   Amit, I want to see an article on this issue either on your blog or at India Inc. by any other member.

   Even I was shocked to see that 39.89 against dollar!

   Only thing you can do is to hold your earnings but for how long...

   Indian economy is going strong and draining our pockets :D

   I am not sure if you should be worried about the Rising Rupee vs US Dollar - reason being that advertisers will pump in more money into online advertising since the overall cost of advertising has reduced with the falling dollar.

   Amit,
   your view is rightly optimistic about the bloggers earnings.. But when i see the export businesses like S/W and BPO industries, they seem to be in trouble.
   Do you see any relief for these industries by some natural market balancing?
   Lets keep the fingers crossed.

   check out:-
   epaper.timesofindia.com (page 21, 5th october, Bangalore edition). Even there is downfall in IT recruitment this year due to rising Re vs $.
   Amit, I agree that advertisers will pump money on web world (referral ads 2.0 is best e.g.) but the fact is they have to pay less means we will be paid less... consider you earn 20$ daily.. so even you can notice the difference in resultant(previous and now) when converted into Rs.
   Even, I have noticed that the clicks on ads/page visits remain more or less the same...Even there is increase in readership.. its a fact that your returning visitors never click on ads bacause they know where is information and where isn't. Also there are other options like feed reading.
   so, I can't say about AdSense publishers having very popular blogs, but surely less popular blogs will suffer.
   Just imagine, if someday 1$ = 1Re what will happen?

   But When Google Check convert to Indian rupees these days.. I know many pro bloggers will be crying...

   When $1 is Re1 which means Indian economy will be self sufficient & not dependent on USA economy.

   When the dollar & rupee will be same. Google will probably send Cheques directly in Indian rupees from Banglore & who knows US will get insist on getting cheques in Rupees. ;-)
