My blog is PR5 and gets around 500 page views a day as per adsense reports. I have recently tried to optimize adsense and it gets me $1-2 per day.

However the TLA gave me around $80 for the first month that I have activated it.

I hv read in DI that TLA can harm your page rank.

Shd I continue with both? Or shd I keep trying with adsense?

  2. I think in DI the topic of TLD was not about http://www.text-link-ads.com/
It was about writing reviews of paid links(kind of affiliate or referral links) and paid reviews..and it would be fine if you use "nofollow" along with the links, you wont be penalized by Google.
I am not sure about it, as I have not used http://www.text-link-ads.com/ and don't know whats their advertising looks like.

Lets wait for Amit or someone else to answer this good question.

Yes, what the OP has mentioned is quite correct...selling with TLA might indeed harm your page rank because they don't allow nofollow tags...

If you are thinking on a long term, I don't think TLA is a way to go... I remember Matt Cutts gave a very beautiful explanation for the evil consequences of selling links... let me know if someone needs to read that...I will try to dig it up

There is always a risk involved when doing paid posts and same is the case with selling TLAs . If you continue to use TLA for long then someday you will be penalized by Google and your ranking might be affected as a result your earning potential , which was due to your high PR , will also fall .

On the other hand Adsense earnings has nothing to do with your PR and in order to earn more you better focus on getting more traffic .
