Tool -> Accounts

Click the weblog for which you wish to generate well formed XHTML.

Goto Weblog settings -> Advanced and change the Markup type to XHTML.

But yes, the generated code is not always perfect.

Is there any known hack to stop Live Writer from rendering invalid code?(apart from viewing source and correcting by hand, which would be lost when saved and restarted)

Amit, I know you're a great fan of WLW, so is there any hack?
