Support from Microsoft will end as per the schedules provided by the company usually 8-10 years after the initial launch of the product. However, if you change important components of your PC like your motherboard, you'll probably be greeted with a message asking you to re-validate your installation as Windows would think it's been installed on another machine.

I am very much interested in purchasing a genuine copy of windows7. However I am confused what is the validity period for windows 7.&#60;br /&#62;
As if we purchase antivirus software its validity is for one year.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So if I purchase Win7 what will be validity, one year or lifetime?
