I use two, one on yahoo (mostly for historical reasons :-) ) and one on gmail. All my email from my domains is redirected to the gmail account.

@Pottas: pseudo usernames are "virtual" usernames - you can create them to act like shortcuts to redirect to a mailbox of choice. The spammer only sees the pseudo / virtual username and if that is compromised, you can always set a rule to BLOCK email addresses to that particular mailbox.

As in my example above, suppose I start getting spam addressed to bookmarksite2334@user.fastmail.fm, then all I need to do is to set up a rule that'll move all email with that particular address to the Trash. As an added bonus, I also know which site has leaked my private info!

@Amit: Gmail's + addressing often causes problems in forms wherein the coder has tried to act smart and use some scripting to validate the input. It's a good idea but then they ought to be smart enough to implement the appropriate RFC describing email usernames. (+,-,_ etc. are valid characters).

I much prefer Fastmail.fm's sub-domain addressing.

As an example - assume I have a mailbox/account user@fastmail.fm

I can then create aliases like spammingsite1@user.fastmail.fm
bookmarksite2334@user.fastmail.fm

and so on. Naturally, when you get spam, all you need to do is look at the headers to figure out which site has leaked your details.

Even forms wherein Gmail's + addressing is rejected will support this sub-domain addressing.

Or if you are on Gmail, just use one id and then use the dot (.) or plus (+) addressing to create pseudo usernames.

Can i know how many email-id do you use for different works ?

I think many of them will use one email-id for registering and other for personal. I had also seen some ppl who use only one for all .

So how do you use and maintain your different email-id's ?
