its Good to hear that Google indexes your newer posts. Have you checked your sitemap if it contains all the urls of your site including the older posts?

Also you can list your site's all indexed pages in google with site command. like site:http://beingmanan.com it will list every page google has already indexed.

Thank you for the inputs.

Here is the thing:

I changed my robots.txt which initially was pointing to sitemap.xml.gz to sitemap.xml. After this when I re-submitted my sitemap on Google Webmasters it said that it has indexed 94 URLs.

Also, when I searched for some posts on the Google Blog search it showed me some of my newer posts but none of my older posts.

And, my RSS feeds are proper, I am myself sbscribed to them and they work tfine. i am using Feedburner for my feeds. :(

Google uses the XML Sitemaps for Web search but uses your RSS feed for blog search.

Make sure you have a valid RSS feed and that you informa Google about it using using Google Blog Ping service.

Well that is one of the problems. I recently found that when I use Google Search on my blog to search it gives no results. Zero. Then searching a little more I realized that it only indexes my site's root domain - http://beingmanan.com and does not index any post on the blog. My blog has been located on http://beingmanan.com/wp

Also, this is a problem I have realized recently, when I had setup the search and other stuff it worked fine. I have been using Google XML Sitemap Generator, DragonDesign Sitemap Generator & All in One SEO plugins, since the blog's inception and it was not a problem then. But now there seems to be thie weird indexing problem.

Any help would highly appreciated.
