To convert Quicktime videos into Windows Media format, you can use the online service like Zamzar.com.

Alternatively, most video sharing sites like YouTube, Blip.tv or Google Video will let you upload videos in quicktime mov and they'll convert that into Flash video flv for you.

Sometime back, I wrote a similar post for adding YouTube videos in Dreamweaver.

You basically have to switch to the HTML source view in Frontpage and copy-paste the video code that's available on YouTube. Read the above post for details.

I am a total beginner and learning on my own how to put up my website. so far so good, but i'm having trouble moving into using media inside of the site.

i know that FrontPage has its issues but it's what I'm stuck with for the moment. I was trying to embed using YouTube but this seems impossible for me to figure out.

Also, my videos are being created on a Mac and not everyone who tries to watch it has QT. is there an easy way for my video guy to convert his files to a form that Media player will open. any other ideas on this, such as how to easily install a viewer inside my site would be appreciated.
