I think perhaps your boot sector is screwed up.

try using:

fdisk /mbr
on your primary boot partition.

Check out this thread and also this one.

Let us know if this helps.

Lastly, if you just want to move back to a single boot Win XP install, then just boot from the Win XP CD and install XP afresh. You most likely will lose data in this case.

I am really sorry but you question is very confusing.

Now that you want to remove everything and do a clean install of XP. If you have a bootable windows xp cd you should be able to reinstall windows and also format both drives or just install xp on one drive. If things don't seem to work then take the hard drive out and get it formatted by a friend or a professional and try reinstalling XP

I'd Fedora7 & WinXP. But, as result of some trojan attack on WinXP, i tried to format the partition having Fedora7 throught PartionMagic and didn't respond. So i restarted PC using WinXP CD but screen went blank for more that 30 mins. So i removed and restarted without any CD. LINUX started but not WinXP. So i again tried to open WinXP in Safe Mode, Win XP isnot opened nor through win any startup options, rather it's saying remove any installed OS.

So would like to know how to uninstall Fedora7 and reinstall back WinXP???
