Like Mani said, the best way to get them out of the supplemental index is to get backlinks from good blogs and also linking to those articles in our new posts.

Besides, you can also try displaying a list of popular posts, recent posts, and posts that you think your blog readers will find interesting on your blog's sidebar.

That may add some weight to the post ;) and tell Google to crawl it more often, eventually that post will get out of the supplemental hell.

Am afraid, none of the above said methods will help you, though they are general methods to avoid having S-Index pages.

Here's how you may get out of the S-Index

1 - You SHOULD get "quality" backlinks to your particular S-Index pages.

2 - Add more quality content into your pages like textual content that's very unique.

3 - Change the url to a more unique one. Sometimes you may have written a sequel to an earlier post and the url may sound very similar to it. But make sure the url is unique.

4 - If you are running a website, follow a plane architecture rather than deep links. If at all you are following a deep link structure, try to link pages very well, so that the google juice and PR is spread uniformly rather than aggregated at one directory level and another level abandoned.

I'm unsure about Abhsiheks method, let me know if this works.

Cheers!
Mani

Simple procedure to release your articles or blog out of supplemental results is.

See the cached result of that page there you will find the keywords cached.

Now open that page in ur blog post editor and modify the content of the article or change the keyword that are cached.

The best route is tohave different meta tags on each page. Google reads your meta description and title tags - if you have the same description in every page, they mind become victim of supplemental results.

And if you are Wordpress, use a nofollow on pages that are aggregating tags, categories, feeds and archives.

1. Make sure that your site is online all the time

If there are networking / other server issues, the sites may get into supplemental result

2. Another reason is that Google has "seen" the link to that page, but has not "read" the contents yet.... Just wait
