Vivek, get someone to link to your blog. Least get a digg submission made from one of your posts or get some social bookmarks.

Amit the Sandbox effect is not longer "active", its probably existing for incoming links to get indexed for a site.

Vivek - it's called the Sandbox effect.

Google avoids shows pages from sites that are very new. This gets resolved automatically over time.

What i did to get my site indexed was that I submitted some of my stories at Digg.com and it got indexed within a few hours .

So you should submit some of your blogposts and get it indexed .

Hi Amit,

I have started this blog about two weeks ago.
http://lifeontube.blogspot.com/

However, when i try to google it, it still doesn't seem to be picked up by google. Can you please throw some light on this as to what do you think could be the reason for this? Its a simple blog with few posts, nothing complicated or confusing which could break google terms etc.

Thanks
Vivek
