			<description>&#60;p&#62;I recommend you provide a download link to the font and instructions on how to install it on a page using a script (if possible).&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Also, the correct encoding (usually UTF-8) needs to be implemented for regional fonts. I need to point out that there's no point in properly encoding the web page, if your users don't have the appropriate font installed on their systems.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;A new system called &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/sifr/&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;sIFR&#60;/a&#62; is also gaining popularity although it is a little heavy on resources because it employs a combination of Flash, Javascript and CSS to display fonts onscreen even if the same fonts are &#60;strong&#62;NOT&#60;/strong&#62; present in the user's PC.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'd recommend that you take a look at &#60;a&#62;BhashaIndia.com&#60;/a&#62; - it's Microsoft's attempt at a common platform for Indic language development as well as a start-off point for end users.
