Multiple Feedburner feeds in dropdown menu?

Hi

I have multiple feedburner feeds that I would like to put in a sidebar of my blog, and I would like to make it a dropdown box. That way, the user could enter their email address, select the feedburner feed they would like to subscribe to in the dropdown box, and hit Submit.

The only problem is I have no idea how to do this. Here's an example code I get from feedburner:

Enter your email address:

Delivered by FeedBurner

If anyone could help me figure this out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

First the document in question must be publicly accessible. Private documents cannot have an RSS feed.

Click the SHARE button in the top right and share it with others as "Collaborators" and not just "Viewers". Next, click the link on the same page, toward the right that says "View RSS".

That ought to be enough.

Hi folks,

I do a lot with Google Docs in education including embedding them in web pages for easy editing HTML-shy faculty. I've seen ways of using Google Spreadsheets to collect feeds but never for creating a feed directly from a Google Doc. When I check the help document for Google Docs it says how to enable RSS but then it says it is currently not available.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

Thanks,

If you want to create an RSS feed of an old website, you may have have to write the XML file yourself - you just need the title, short description of each article and the URL.

Else try tools like dappr.

Amit,

What is the best way to convert a web 1.0 site with regular articles to RSS feeds. Is there an automated way to do that.

Does the commercial version of feedburner provide this service.

As mentioned here, Windows Live Writer doesn't support image uploading for Blogger though the new Picasa API does have that feature.

It's expected that the Windows Live Writer 1.0 final version will have Blogger images support. Until then, you can do so manually through Picasa software or using the web interface of Blogger.

For #4, I use dreamhost for http://www.labnol.org which is in incubation mode.

Newbie blogger. Newbie questions.

Hello, Amit Agarwal,

My name is Nihang Shah. I am newbie blogger and have some easy questions for you.

1. You use Windows Live Writer to post on labnol.blogspot.com. I tried the same, but didn't have success with image uploading. I had to manually add images by logging on to blogger.com.

Are there any FTP settings or something else in Windows Live Writer to enable image uploading with blogger.com?

Also, which image hosting service is used for all the images hosted on labnol.blogspot.com?
Like, is it,
* Flickr,
* Picasa Web Albums,
* photo hosting by blogger.com
* on your site (labnol.org) ?

2. Many professional bloggers like Chris Pirillo, Robert Scoble, etc. are sharing their favorite RSS feeds on http://share.opml.org/. Could you too, please share your 250+ RSS feeds?

I just downloaded FeedDemon, and am having tough time looking for good RSS feeds to read, specially suited to "Indian tastes".

Also, I just subscribed to both of your labnol RSS feeds. But, only the latest posts were downloaded. Is there a way to tweak this setting and download more posts i.e. the older posts, too?

3. You use a copyright (c) symbol for Digital Inspiration. Does one need to officially register with the Indian government or organisation, to use the (c) symbol?

4. Please recommend a some good webhosting companies in India? Which one do you use?

5. You've created your own template on blogger.com. How do you perform all the "testing", "debugging", work? Please tell me where did you learn *designing templates for blogger.com*.

Also, how did you create exclusive pages like "About Us", "Go shopping", "Hardware n Software", etc. using the template? And, how did you post information there?

6. Stupid question. What does "labnol" mean?

7. Do you blog on any other blogs except on http://labnol.blogspot.com or http://labnol.org ?

8. Do you really earn a *SIX* figure income in Indian Rupees every single month?

Thanks and keep blogging!

Nihang Shah.
