Ok, that's fine. I was playing around with PDFescape and would have been brilliant if an "embed this to a website" button was there... :-)
I was just wondering if any website provides a possibility like mentioned above.
Thanks for your kind attention to this topic.

No browser supports PDF format without any external viewer / plugin like Adobe Acrobat / Sumatra / Foxit Reader etc. So, in order to use the PDF format, your users will *have* to use a PDF reader.

But is there any solution not to require to download any programs?

Hi there,

Challenge:
I have a pdf form.
I want to use it on my site to provide my visitors the possibility
-to fill it out online,
-print directly after filling it out without saving
-and save.

Question:
How to publish pdf forms to be able to fill and print online (for free)?

I can find sites where I have the possibility to upload and embed pdf files, but there's no possibility to fill it out online. (I browsed Adobe PDF Guide on labnol.org)

It is important to have the document in pdf format, important to be able to ahow it on my site (not directing visitors to other sites if possible)

Thanks for your attention.

I entered the Printable version of the page you've supplied earlier and it worked fine. My PDF reader - Foxit, recognised and offered to open the URL links embedded within the PDF. The site offers the capability to have the PDF compressed and emailed if it isn't too large as well.

You can also use PrimoPDF for the same. This will install as a printer on your machine and you can do ctrl+p and select PrimoPDF as printer. The PPT will be converted to pdf in easy steps.

We may need to convert Powerpoint to PDF format in our office sometimes. What do you think is the best way to convert? Of course you can convert your Powerpoint to PDF online. But don’t think it is time-consuming and may results failure especially when you have a comparative large file. According to my experience, I will introduce two ways of converting Powerpoint to PDF besides online method.First, you can use software. In this way, you don’t have to worry about the defects I mentioned above. What’s more, you can carry on even if you don’t have access to Internet. Here is one of the softwares Powerpoint to PDF. It’s very easy to use. There is no need for me to provide you with a tutorial.
Download it here
http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/ppt-pdf-converter/

Second, if you are using Powerpoint 2007, it is much easy to do it as this version you can download an add-in from Microsoft to fulfill your purpose.Follow the steps bellow Open your ready-to-convert Powerpoint document. Click Office Button office Choose Save as and then PDF or XPS. If you have intalled the add-in, you will be promoted to the Publish interface. If you haven’t, you must firstly intall the add-in with the help of Powerpoint Help.To save your troube you can directly download the add-in here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=4D951911-3E7E-4AE6-B059-A2E79ED87041&displaylang=en
So far, you can easily turn your Presentation to PDF format.

PDFs are not natively readable by Office. You'll need a dedicated PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat or better yet, try the non-bloated Foxit PDF reader.

Yes like you said it is pretty simple.

First upload the pdf file on your server or it can be any other place along as you know the path.

Now here is the html code to add link ( replace "@" with "a" )

<a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com/folder-with-pdf-file/catalogue.pdf">View Catalog</a>

I hope this helps

EDIT by Sparx: You can enter code within backticks

` to display the actual code, Kiranjeevi.

PDF is an output format and isn't really meant for editing. You can't remove text from a PDF file but you may try a workaround - use a text annotation and place it over the text that you want to replace.

Obviously, the appropriate permissions have to be set. Don't expect too much out of this. THe whole point of PDF is to ensure fidelity and the fact that the document in question cannot or rather should not be changed.
