On Friday, Aug.1st, my Google Reader was a bit wacky -would only display about one eighth of the blogs I subscribe to and no scrollbar between the blogs list and the posts. This went on from about 9:30 a.m. till near 8:00 p.m. when suddenly, it came back to life. However, I realized over the weekend that my own blog is not being updated on Google Reader now. The last post it shows is dated July 31st and I've put up about 7-8 posts since then.

Being the computer genius that I am NOT, I also decided over the weekend to do the Feedburner thing and the end result is I think I may have mucked things up even more then.

I confuse very easily when trying to understand instructions for things like "sitemap" "Metatags" and such. Surfing around the help site has me really lost and confused as I only understand simple ENGLISH and make it VERY simple at that -step by step basically "type this, then click this, etc." I probably need an instruction list that reads like the old first grade reader "Dick and Jane!"
I'm not that new to blogging -been almost 2 years -but I am apparently as dense as a can of Crisco still.
Need help to get my Reader working again for openers as well as lots of other instructions, explanations too, I'm sure.
blog url: http://oldavonladysorders.blogspot.com
blog name: Down River Drivel
Blog description -Just basic drivel about my life with emphasis mainly on two young grandchildren who are both autistic.

Google Reader could be a bit slow in indexing new posts but it will definitely pick it.

To tell Google Reader that you have published a new blog post, go to Pingomatic - type the address of your blog and Ping.
